One evening, during dinner on the deck, Nakiah decided to take her bike for a spin. She's getting pretty good at peddling and I was so busy cheering her on that I totally forgot about her helmet. (Shame on me!)
Nakiah literally stopped her bike, got off, put her hand over her mouth and said "oh no mommy, forgot helmet"
We put her helmet on and continued our ride.
I hope she is always so safety conscious
