She may come to despise this sort of "play time" one day so I figure, enjoy it while it lasts.

Cherios!
Mommy had a bit too much playing with Nakiah!!
I stuck Cherios all over her face and she didn't touch one of them. I started laughing and she just looked at me with a very serious "whats so funny" stare and I could not stop laughing. Kids really are the best toys!! :)

Camping Chair...CHECK!
In preparation of Nakiah's first semi-camping trip, ( I say semi because we'll be in pretty nice - furnished - cabins on the river ), my mom got Nakiah her first camping chair. Its the cutest chair I've seen for little ones. It even has a velcro pouch on the back and little "backpack" straps so when she gets bigger, she can carry her own chair.

Father's Day BBQ
We had a BBQ at our house for father's day.
It was either really borring, or really good...
Is it just me, or does it seem like Michael is asleep in a lot of his pictures?

Jamie & Taelin
Nakiah, my mom and I stopped in to see Jamie and Taelin on Mother's Day. I can not believe how big Taelin is. He just keeps getting cuter and cuter. I loved kissing those cheeks. Its going to be so much fun watching him and Nakiah play together. I just wish they didn't live so far away.
We miss you guys!
As you can see, my precious girl makes the first move, she couldn't get enough kisses...

Big Project
I'd like to say that Corey and I are adding a new deck to the house, but really its more like Corey, Dennis and Jerry are adding a new deck to the house. They do the work, I'm project manager. So mostly I ask a lot of questions and irritate my husband, but not on purpose. ;)
A view from the south end of the deck, looking at our neighbor's yard
